Profile
Tiny Rosie, is In2thewild’s first South Australian tiny house, which is an hour’s drive from Adelaide on the edge of the Barossa Valley with views of Mount Crawford Forest. With wineries dotted all around, there’s plenty to do – though you could just as easily just cosy up in the house and enjoy complete seclusion.
Tiny Rosie can sleep up to four adults, with a queen bed in a windowed nook offering landscape views and a double bed in the loft. And the main bed is covered in warm-toned French linens from Sydney label Carlotta & Gee.
There’s also a full bathroom with a toilet, hot shower and basin, as well as a fully equipped kitchen. and air-conditioning. Outside there’s a deck, campfire, barbeque, picnic table and hammock, and you can lay out a Wandering Folk rug for picnics or stargazing.
Birdwood is only a 15-minute drive from Tiny Rosie, a town best known for the National Motor Museum housed in the historic mill featuring hundreds of vintage and classic vehicles. It’s a good pit-stop to pick up fresh essentials or grab a refreshment at the local pub or café.
