Profile
Griffith Working Hostels is a family-run business in the Riverina, NSW, servicing both backpackers as well as local farmers and producers since 2005. They currently operate two separate and very different properties, both of which provide budget accommodation to international travellers. The key element of their service is matching motivated itinerant workers to seasonal work vacancies all year round. They place an emphasis on working hard and encourage a quiet and tranquil atmosphere in the hostels to relax after work.
Their guests must hold a Working Holiday Visa (subclass 417) or (subclass 462), or student visa, or other valid work entitlement to be considered for a job placement.
They do not guarantee work prior to your arrival, but they have a strong reputation of finding the right work placement once you are here.
They work closely with many different employers and industries. Depending on the season, these include: tree nurseries, juice sheds, wineries, fruit and vegetable packing sheds, construction sites, irrigation installations, handy person work, bars and restaurants, gardening and general weekend work.
